Welcome to Keeping PACE, AGD PACE providers’ most current source of information from AGD headquarters. Keeping PACE is a quarterly e-newsletter intended to help AGD PACE-approved providers meet PACE standards  and criteria when planning and implementing continuing dental education (CE) courses. It is also a good reference tool for AGD leaders. Recipients are encouraged to check this resource regularly for information that can help provide quality CE and ensure compliance to published AGD PACE Guidelines. If you would like to propose a submission for an upcoming edition of Keeping PACE, please send it to PACE@agd.org.

Renewing AGD PACE Approval in 2020
Will your AGD PACE approval expire in 2020? Visit the Find a PACE Provider  webpage to see your current approval term. If you are not listed on the webpage, your approval is no longer current.

Reminder: Nationally approved providers are required to pay an annual $300 fee to maintain their approval throughout the term granted by the PACE Council. Nationally approved providers will receive an email reminder that the fee is due approximately 90 days before the anniversary of the provider’s approval start date.

National PACE Provider Deadlines
AGD sends current national PACE providers renewal applications via email six and 11 months prior to their approval expiration date. The PACE Council reviews national applications according to a bimonthly schedule. AGD staff and PACE Council members process and review applications during the period between the submission deadline and the mailing of results.

Local PACE Provider Deadlines
Each AGD constituency sets its own schedule to review and approve local AGD PACE providers. Applications are sent to existing local providers six months prior to their approval expiration date. Visit the Apply for Local PACE Approval page for more information.
