Katie Reuther attended the Marquette University School of Dentistry on a scholarship for the U.S. Navy. After dental school, she honed her dental skills serving her country. She was stationed at the Marine Corp Recruit Depot in Parris Island, South Carolina. She moved to Guam and was stationed on the USS Frank Cable for two years. She then transitioned out of the military from Millington, Tennessee. After the Navy, Reuther worked for a dental services organization for seven years. In 2020, she purchased a solo doctor office.
