The Refer-a-Colleague Program, AGD’s member-get-a-member campaign, allows you to share the benefits of AGD membership with your nonmember peers. You can offer your colleagues the same great continuing education, practice management guidance, access to publications, networking and advocacy that help your practice grow and prosper. 

And as AGD grows, your member benefits expand, and our collective voice becomes stronger.

Recruiter Resources
Short on time? Submit your nonmember colleagues’ names and contact information to us via the Online Referral Form. We will contact them with membership information on your behalf. When they join AGD, we’ll award you recruiter credit.

Recognition and Rewards 
Here’s how you’ll be rewarded for recruiting new members:

Refer a Colleague, Earn Rewards
The AGD Referral Rewards Program (part of the Refer-a-Colleague Program) thanks AGD members for inviting their colleagues to join the association.

Here’s how it works: When a colleague whom you refer joins AGD as an active member, you each get a $50 coupon that can be applied toward a future purchase with AGD. You can apply it toward study materials for the Fellowship Review Course and even the national portion of your dues renewal. 

For new members, it’s a great way to explore everything AGD has to offer. And for recruiters, there’s no limit to how many coupons you can earn.

Recruiter Leaderboard
Track your progress toward recruiter recognition using the Recruiter Leaderboard. The leaderboard is updated monthly to reflect the total number of qualifying new dentist members who were recruited by eligible participants since Jan. 1, 2024.

Sign up at least three qualifying new members during the 2024 Refer-a-Colleague Program, and be recognized on the leaderboard for each recruiter level you reach:

• Bronze recruiter (three to six new members)
• Silver recruiter (seven to 10 new members)
• Gold recruiter (11-plus new members)

The more nonmembers you recruit between now and Dec. 31, 2024, the more rewards you earn. So start recruiting today! 

Rules and Eligibility
All AGD dentist members in good standing, including emeritus and retired members, are invited to participate in the 2024 Refer-a-Colleague Program, which runs Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2024.

To qualify for Referral Rewards, each new member you recruit must join AGD as an active general dentist, affiliate or associate member. Former members who rejoin do not qualify as new recruits for the referral program. To receive credit for recruiting a new member, your recruit must indicate your name, city, state, province or federal service branch upon joining AGD.
