Alternative payment models (APMs) are one element of the value-based care (VBC) delivery model of healthcare, i.e., reimbursing providers based on quality measures, evidence-based clinical guidelines, improved outcomes and positive patient experiences. The objective of this new study was to examine dental providers’ familiarity with and attitudes toward APMs in a VBC model.
