AGD2019 Grand Prize
All 2019 Refer-a-Colleague Program participants who sign up at least one qualifying new dentist member between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2019, will receive entry to this year’s
Receive one grand-prize drawing entry upon recruiting your first new dentist member, and earn additional drawing entries for each new dentist member you recruit thereafter.
*If the grand-prize drawing winner recruited more than one new member to AGD between Jan 1. and Dec. 31, 2019, we will randomly choose which new member will accompany the winner to AGD2020 as part of the 2019 Refer-a-Colleague Program's grand prize.
Track your progress toward recruiter recognition and the number of entries you’ve earned toward the AGD2020 grand-prize drawing using the Recruiter Leaderboard. The leaderboard is updated monthly to reflect the total number of qualifying new dentist members who were recruited by eligible participants since Jan. 1, 2019.
Sign up at least three qualifying new members during the 2019 Refer-a-Colleague Program, and be recognized on the leaderboard for each recruiter level you reach:
- Bronze recruiter (three to six new members)
- Silver recruiter (seven to 10 new members)
- Gold recruiter (11-plus new members)
The more nonmembers you recruit between now and Dec. 31, 2019, the more rewards you earn and the better your chances of winning the grand prize. So start recruiting today!
Rules and Eligibility
All AGD dentist members in good standing, including emeritus and retired members, are invited to participate in the 2019 Refer-a-Colleague Program, which runs Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2019.
To qualify for Referral Rewards and this year’s grand-prize drawing, each new member you recruit must join AGD as an active general dentist, affiliate or associate member. Former members who rejoin do not qualify as new recruits for the referral program. To receive credit for recruiting a new member, your recruit must indicate your name, city, state, province or federal service branch upon joining AGD.
Information for Authors
General Dentistry has developed a significant backlog of manuscripts, prompting us to make the difficult decision to temporarily suspend new manuscript submissions, effective February 28, 2019. This pause in manuscript submissions will ensure that all manuscripts that have already been accepted or provisionally accepted will be published in a timely manner. We are pleased and honored that so many authors are eager to publish their research and clinical cases in General Dentistry. Nevertheless, both authors and readers are best served by expeditious publication of cutting-edge research, and a suspension of the steady stream of new manuscript submissions will ensure that we continue to provide timely decisions and publication dates.
As more information becomes available, we will notify the membership through both our website and our manuscript submission portal. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
