The AGD publishes a monthly electronic newsletter for constituent leaders, AGD Leader Insider. It offers leaders the most current and relevant information from AGD Headquarters. Leaders are encouraged to read AGD Leader Insider regularly for upcoming developments in advocacy, constituent services, public information, membership development and retention and much more.

The AGD Strategic and Tactical Assessment and Response (STAR) program provides constituencies with a team of trained facilitators and staff to help during brainstorming, strategic planning and goal-setting meetings. The AGD STAR program helps constituencies create key action plans and works with constituency leaders to ensure that these plans are useful in meeting project deadlines. Additionally, following every AGD STAR program appointment, constituencies will be given a written summary from the goal-setting meeting to review for internal project purposes.
