Traveling to Canada

For U.S. citizens

U.S. citizens traveling to AGD2025, Canada only requires a valid U.S. passport at the time of entry.
U.S. Travelers do not need an eTA or visa to attend the AGD2025. U.S. citizens must carry proper identification such as a valid U.S. passport or passport card.

Apply for or Renew Your U.S. Passport

Visit the U.S. Department of State’s website for information on first-time application or renewal processes, required documents, and processing times. 

Plan ahead, average processing time for a new passport or to renew your passport is 6- 8 weeks. Expediate processing is 2-3 weeks and requires additional fees. 

Traveling From a Country Other Than the U.S.

Depending on the country you are traveling from, you will either need to secure a visa, an eTA or both. An eTA is Electronic Travel Authorization. eTAs can be completed online and typically approved the same day as submission.
