Ross W. Nash, DDS
Esthetic Dentistry
Join Dr. Ross Nash for this two-part lecture, “Cosmetic and Esthetic Dentistry for the General Practice.” Explore various indirect procedures to restore and esthetically enhance smiles. Nash will demonstrate how smile design principles and occlusion guide allows the dentist and technician to perform a full mouth rejuvenation.

Alan Budenz, DDS
Anesthesia and Pain Management
Budenz will present four courses at AGD2023 including “’X’ Marks The Spot! Hands-On Local Anesthesia Technique Workshop.” This workshop is an opportunity to develop and practice clinical techniques with special emphasis on the mandible. Short lecture segments present the anatomical landmarks and discuss the steps of individual nerve block techniques, followed by a clinical demonstration of the technique, and then the participants pair up to practice locating the landmarks and walking through the technique on each other (no actual injections are given).

Jason R. Doucette, DMD
Orofacial Pain: Sleep Medicine
During this four-part course, participants will examine the prevalence of snoring/obstructive sleep apnea, “Dental Sleep Medicine in Today’s Modern Dental Office.” Discussion will include an in-depth look at the signs, symptoms and consequences of not treating patients with sleep apnea in a timely manner as well as practical application and implementation of dental sleep medicine protocols within today’s general dental office.

Bruce L. Cassis, DDS, MAGD
Laser Therapy
In “Practical Laser Assisted Dentistry Workshop,” a tell, show, do course taught by Dr. Bruce Cassis, you will explore laser dentistry including treatment topics in restorative, periodontics, endodontics, and surgical procedures. Course participants will review common procedures that can be more effective with dental laser treatments (tell), see demonstrations of common procedures (show) and complete laser procedures on extracted teeth or pig jaws (do).

Jim Grisdale, DDS
Periodontics
Join Dr. Jim Grisdale for “Basic and Advanced Suturing Techniques for Implant Surgery and Periodontal Surgery for the General Practitioner.” This workshop is a must for all dentists and surgical team members performing implant, periodontal and oral surgery. During this three hour course explore the advantages and disadvantages of suturing wound closure, examine indications for using different suture materials and needles, and practice different suturing techniques.
