Evaluating Dentifrices for Coffee-Stained Ceramic Brackets

Ceramic brackets are often used for orthodontic treatment in adults, as they maintain mechanical strength and color stability over time. However, they may be susceptible to exogenous pigmentation. A new study in General Dentistry evaluates the influence of brushing with regular or whitening dentifrices on the color change and micromorphologic surface of coffee-stained brackets.
