Cracked teeth with radicular extension have traditionally been considered nonrestorable, but recent evidence supports conservative treatment with favorable outcomes. A new article in General Dentistry, published in collaboration with the American Association of Endodontists, covers microscope-assisted endodontic therapy, placement of intraradicular barriers and timely restoration for endodontically treated deeply cracked teeth.
