AGD Advocates at the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) Meeting
On August 5th and 6th Legislative and Governmental Affairs Chair Dr. Richard Huot and AGD Manager, Government Relations, Jay Fisher spoke with state legislators from around the country at the annual NCSL Summit in Boston. NCSL brings together state legislators from both parties to discuss issues of importance in every state. AGD again exhibited next to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. AGD advocated for community water fluoridation and dental insurance reform.

It is important to have a presence at NCSL as it is the largest gathering of state legislators. The dental therapists were present and AGD needed to be there as well. Legislators were interested in learning our thoughts on fluoridation and about the importance of dental insurance reform.
