The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is pleased to announce the recent appointment of the newest members to its General Dentistry Advisory Board. General Dentistry is AGD’s award-winning, peer-reviewed journal. Published bimonthly, General Dentistry features clinical articles spanning the breadth of topics relevant to general dentists, including unique case reports, novel solutions to common treatment dilemmas, evidence-based best practices and the science to help dentists choose the best materials, technology and procedures for their patients and practices. Members of the Advisory Board are responsible for:

• identifying trends in the industry within their areas of expertise,
• helping to solicit clinical manuscripts in conjunction with journal staff,
• serving as a sounding board for feature articles and individual manuscript ideas,
• serving as a peer reviewer when the sensitive or timely nature of a manuscript precludes use of the journal’s regular reviewers, and
• raising visibility for AGD and functioning as goodwill ambassadors.

The following individuals will serve on the General Dentistry Advisory Board for 2 years. The position highlights the area in which the member is a subject matter expert.
