2018 is redefining what it means to be a woman in the workplace. More and more, we are seeing strong female leaders. AGD2018 will be hosting a unique panel of accomplished women sharing their insights and personal experiences on overcoming challenges to achieve success in leadership roles.

Who are these inspiring women? Let’s meet the panelists!

Ricki Braswell, CAE: After graduating from Florida State University, Braswell developed her career as a non-profit executive. Her first job out of college was with the Florida Press Association, the trade association for newspapers. She worked there for nine years while the organization grew from a small annual budget of just over $500,000 to an enormous $42 million. Braswell then became the Co-Executive Director to two national dental non-profits. During her ten-year tenure with the National Association of Dental Laboratories and the National Board for Certification, Braswell launched a non-profit foundation and spearheaded a $1 million fundraising campaign. In 2011, Braswell became the President and CEO of the L.D. Pankey Dental Foundation.

Alison Bibbins Ward: Ward received a bachelor’s degree from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics (now the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics) at the University of New Hampshire. Ward is a trustee of the Sankaty Head Foundation. She is a committee member of “the one hundred” at the Mass General Hospital Cancer Center. Ward is consistently a top-performing wealth director nationally. She is the recipient of the 2007 Chairman’s Club Award for sales excellence and was recognized as being in the top . 1 percent of employees worldwide.

Regina Cobb, DDS: Graduating from Case Western Reserve University in 1993, Cobb currently practices at Kingman, Arizona. She was President of the Arizona Dental Association in 2009. Voted Dentist of the Year for Outstanding Contributions to the Profession of Dentistry in Arizona 2012 by AZDA. Cobb is now a Republican member of the Arizona House of Representatives representing Arizona's Legislative District Five.

Kim Perry, DDS, MSCS:  Perry completed her Master of Science in Clinical Science with distinction from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Perry received her Degree in Dental Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, Chapel Hill, N.C and is the current Immediate 93rd Past President of the National Dental Association. Perry is an associate professor and the associate vice president of University Strategic Partnerships for A.T. Still University.
