Join AGD President Merlin P. Ohmer, DDS, MAGD, for a networking opportunity to mix and mingle with attendees and exhibitors alike. Hosted on the Exhibit Hall floor, attendees and exhibitors will come together to network, enjoy light refreshments and toast to a successful AGD2024.
Speed Mentorship Event

Join us for a mentorship event in the New Dentist Lounge where you’ll have the chance to connect with distinguished AGD members and leaders in the field. This one-hour event is designed to engage students and new dentists with mentors who are knowledgeable in various topics of dentistry.
Student & New Dentist Reception
Friday, July 19, 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Students, residents and new dentists are invited to attend the Student & New Dentist Lounge Reception. This exclusive reception is an opportunity to network with peers and AGD leaders. Recognition of the AGD Student Chapter of the Year and Faculty Advisor of the Year award recipients will be announced during the event.
Convocation Ceremony & Reception
Saturday, July 20 4:30 p.m.
Honor the achievements of your friends, family and peers as AGD pays tribute to the 2024 class of Fellows, Masters and Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition (LLSR) recipients during this formal ceremony at AGD2024. Following the Convocation ceremony, join AGD leaders and members, along with families and friends, for an entertaining reception following the Convocation ceremony. New Fellows, Masters and LLSRs will be celebrated as distinguished guests. All ages are welcome, but tickets are required for each guest. Awardees must register to receive their complimentary ticket and purchase additional tickets if needed. Additional tickets can be purchased, please watch your emails for further information.
