New Speaker Program at AGD2024 – Take the Floor
SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE BY FEBRUARY 1, 2024, AT 11:59 PM CENTRAL TIME.
Formerly recognized as Dental Pearls and Emerging Speakers presentations, AGD is proud to announce Take the Floor, a reimagined series that covers timely and relevant topics within the field of dentistry.
These symposium-style presentations, each with 35 minutes of lecture and 10 minutes of Q&A, will allow subject matter experts to highlight themes across clinical disciplines, mental health, and physical well-being. Participants will gain critical insights into today's most pressing challenges and walk away with an invaluable educational experience.
Everyone is welcome to submit, with preference given to AGD members, especially FAGD and MAGD awardees. All topics (including Wellness) are welcome!
Submission of an abstract proposal does not guarantee acceptance to the AGD2024 program. All abstract proposals are reviewed by the Scientific Meeting Council (SMC), based on description clarity, learning objectives, creativity of proposed topic/case and its significance to general dentistry. Proposals that are incomplete or submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. Formal notification of selection will occur after the SMC has reviewed all complete submissions and no later than Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
Speakers chosen will be required to submit their final presentation (PowerPoint or compatible format) including any clinical photos or video clips to AGD no later than June 3, 2024.
