AGD2021 Convocation Ceremony and Celebration
The FAGD, MAGD awards and LLSR designation are AGD’s highest honors. Receiving these awards show your lifelong commitment to exceptional oral care and that you’ve seized the opportunity to expand your clinical knowledge and enhance how you care for your patients. The Convocation Ceremony and Celebration is AGD’s way of acknowledging and rewarding Fellows, Masters and LLSR recipients with an outlet to have a little fun.
The Convocation Ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 12, 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Austin Convention Center Level 4 Ballrooms D-G. Due to the pandemic, capacity is limited, and awardees and LLSR recipients can reserve tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. Awardees and LLSR recipients may reserve one guest ticket for seating in the convention center ballroom. Additional guest tickets can be reserved to view the livestreamed ceremony in Hilton Hotel Ballroom. Awardees and LLSR recipients should reserve guest tickets with their meeting registration. If you did not reserve tickets when you registered, you can return to the registration site and modify your registration.
All meeting attendees can celebrate the 2021 Fellows’, Masters’ and LLSR recipients’ accomplishments at the Convocation Celebration. Head down to Stubbs BBQ Restaurant from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. to join AGD leaders and members, along with families and friends, for an entertaining reception following the Convocation Ceremony. New Fellows, Masters and LLSR recipients will be celebrated as distinguished guests. This ticketed event will feature hors d’oeuvres, champagne bars, and live entertainment. All ages are welcome, but tickets are required for each guest. Awardees must register to receive their complimentary ticket. Additional tickets can be purchased at $75 for Adults and $45 for Youth (ages 3-12) with your meeting registration. If you did not reserve tickets when you registered, you can return to the registration site and modify your registration.
