Speaker Biography After 17 years practicing as a general dentist, Dr. Woodmansey returned to his dental alma mater, Texas A&M/Baylor, and completed a Certificate in Endodontics in 2008. Then after 3 years as a practicing endodontist, Dr. Woodmansey returned to his alma mater to teach full-time. Since 2011, he has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics at Texas A&M/Baylor. There Dr. Woodmansey participates in all aspects of the department: teaching undergraduate students; The assistant Director for graduate residents; and several interesting research projects. He has both clinical and didactic teaching responsibilities. Dr. Woodmansey also serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, presently assigned to the 22nd Air Force, Detachment 1 at Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville, Arkansas. In this capacity, Dr. Woodmansey spends 1 weekend a month plus an additional 15 days throughout the year performing oral examinations for members of the Air Force Reserve. |
