Speaker Biography
Dr. Jeanne M. Salcetti is a Board–Certified Periodontist and has practiced in Colorado Springs since 1995. Originally, a dental hygienist, she completed her B.S degree from the University of Maryland in 1980. Once that was completed, she joined the UM faculty for six years, first in the Department of Dental Hygiene and later in the Department of Periodontics. While on the faculty at Maryland she received her M.S. in Adult and Continuing Education from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland in 1986. She then pursued her D.D.S. and graduated from the University of Maryland in 1991. After graduating Magna Cum Laude and completing a one–year GPR program in York, PA., Dr. Jeanne M. Salcetti attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her 3 year periodontics residency where she received her certificate in periodontics and an M.S. degree. In 2000 she became Board Certified with The American Board of Periodontology.
