“I would recommend that any dental student involved with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) apply for a position in the annual House of Delegates. As a student delegate, I was given the honor and privilege to travel to Chicago to represent dental students in voting on resolutions to the constitution and bylaws of the AGD organization as well as its future leaders. With all expenses covered, I traveled to the 3-day meeting in Chicago, attending the House of Delegates sessions, reference committee meetings, Region 2 regional caucus, and elections. I learned so much more about the inner workings of organized dentistry while connecting and networking with countless dentists across the country. I had a phenomenal experience and could not recommend applying more!”
