YOUR Decisions Decide Surgical Success with Exodontia with Dr. Karl Koerner

Date(s)
May. 10, 2021 at 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Description:

What you know or don’t know, what you do or don’t do determines how a difficult extraction will go. Your reservoir of knowledge will allow you to do the case quickly or slowly, have complications or not, make the patient grateful or disgruntled. This webinar will cover the four hardest non-wisdom teeth to extract: upper and lower first molars, upper 1st premolars, and canines. What do you need to know to have these cases go smoothly or go awry (amiss)? What do these different kinds of teeth have in common when it comes to removing them? Unfortunately, many general dentists were not in the loop when certain secrets were passed around. This course helps rectify that.

Objectives:

This course will enable the participant to:

  • Select cases that are within their range while being willing to try to broaden that range.
  • Treatment plan these types of extractions - thinking ahead what instrument or action comes next.
  • Learn state-of-the-art techniques used by clinicians doing many extractions.
  • Realize how best to avoid or manage common exodontia complications.
