This lecture reviews the diagnosis and management of peri-implant soft- and hard-tissue deficiencies before and after implant placement. Topics include soft-tissue augmentation procedures, guided bone regeneration and sinus augmentation techniques. Emphasis will be placed on treatment planning, surgical decision-making, evidence-based approaches, and strategies to optimize implant esthetics, function and long-term peri-implant health.

- Evaluate indications, limitations and treatment planning considerations for soft-tissue grafting procedures around implants.
