AGD is recruiting qualified members to serve as AGD spokespeople, serving as expert resources for media interviews and translating clinical knowledge into meaningful, consumer-focused messaging that improves public understanding of oral health. We are seeking individuals who are oral health subject matter experts, responsive to media opportunities and located near key media markets.
As part of this program, AGD provides structured media training every two years, ensuring spokespeople are confident, prepared and aligned with key messaging priorities. Each spokesperson is an essential part of AGD’s public information program, helping to strengthen awareness of the profession and highlight the critical role of general dentists in overall health and wellness.
AGD Spokespeople:
- Must have some media and/or social media experience
- Serve as subject matter experts for media interviews, press outreach and AGD content
- Contribute to blogs, articles, video segments and social media features
- Help position AGD as a leading authority on oral health and general dentistry
- Must be reasonably available year-round and responsive via phone and email
- Receive media training and ongoing communications support from AGD
