SPEAKER BIO

Dr. Samuel Lee is a Diplomate of American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. Currently, Dr. Samuel Lee is attending Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Post-doctoral training in Periodontology, and pursuing his Doctor of Medical Science. After completing his bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at UCLA, Dr. Samuel Lee graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry. He then practiced implant dentistry and orthodontics in a private practice in Buena Park, California, for 7 years. He has won the 1st Place Table Clinic Presentation Award at many prestigious organization:
The 2008 American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), the 2007 American
Orthodontic Society (AOS), and the 2007 International Congress of Oral
Implantologists(ICOI).

He is the inventor of "Crestal Window Sinus Grafting Technique," and own the patent on his sinus instruments. He currently teaches internationally on his sinus techniques and TAD to specialists, general dentist, and dental schools.

Treatment of Peri-Implantitis - What can we do?

Prevalence of dental implant complications are increasing. After this lecture, attendees will learn latest information of failing/ailing implants. Classification of failing/ailing implant will be discussed. Resective and regenerative approach to peri implantitis will be introduced. Bone grafting technique around edentulous and around implants will be presented. Use of Er,Cr,YSSG laser in implant therapy will be discussed.

Simplified and Predictable Sinus Bone Grafting

Attendees will learn many alternative surgical approach to lateral window technique. Many innovative sinus bone grafting will be presented with advantages and disadvantage of each techniques. The lecture will outline and give guidance on which techniques to employ given a certain morphology of sinus. We will also present an unique crestal approach to sinus grafting that is not a blind technique. The procedure is a sinus lift and grafting technique that results in faster healing, virtually no swelling or bruising, and higher patient satisfaction with predictable outcome. Using this innovative technique in most cases you no longer have to access sinus cavities throughout lateral window procedures. In situations that must involve lateral window, the clinician introduces an easy and predictable lateral window technique.

Easy and Predictable Mandibular One Stage Ridge Splitting

Attendees will learn many alternative surgical approach horizontal ridge augmentation. Many innovative lateral bone grafting will be presented with advantages and disadvantage of each techniques. Mandibular ridge splitting has been a clinical challenge due to high density of cortical bone. Therefore, some clinicians recommends two stage approach to overcome this issue. We will also present an unique ridge splitting technique that is easy to do and predictable using one stage approach.
