Management of the Patient with Diabetes Mellitus

A review of the epidemiology, complications and clinical management of patients with diabetes mellitus seen in the dental office. (Full or half-day)

Learning objectives:

-Know the prevalence of diabetes mellitus in the United States;
-Understand the systemic and oral complications of diabetes mellitus;
-Be familiar with the management of patients with diabetes seen in the dental office.
