Schmidt, DMD, FAGD, interviews Brett Gilbert, DDS, FICD, Dip ABE, professor of endodontics at the University of Illinois Chicago and a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, about best practices for endodontic treatment. Gilbert, who will be teaching Endo Unlocked in Chicago this October, shares insights on case selection; when to refer to a specialist; and how factors such as patient comfort, psychology and ability to open can be just as important as tooth anatomy.
