On March 6, we celebrate National Dentist’s Day, and I hope you take a moment to reflect on the important role you play in your office and your community. This past year, I have had the opportunity to travel to various meetings and get to know so many AGD members. I’ve enjoyed connecting with colleagues, establishing new friendships, discovering incredible talent and witnessing the passion you have for learning and excellence.

As a general dentist and as president of AGD, it is a special honor to thank AGD members for being part of a community of learners, leaders and doers. We have a love for learning and for dentistry, and, together, these factors create an always-evolving career path. AGD was founded by general dentists dedicated to quality dental education, and we foster excellence so our members stay current on all the trends and techniques needed to serve the oral health needs of their patients. I also want to personally thank all dentists who stand up and use their voices to preserve and protect our profession and the patients and communities we care for.

On National Dentist’s Day, I want to say how grateful I am to work with such dedicated dentists and colleagues. Thank you for being a part of the AGD community.
