Late last year, Roseman University students and faculty began establishing Utah’s first AGD student chapter. The organization’s constitution joins the values of the university with both the Utah and national AGD ideals. The Roseman AGD Student Chapter’s goal is to provide educational experiences for its members by engaging with neighboring dental communities. Thanks to the efforts of everyone involved in the Roseman AGD Student Chapter, it will soon be an official organization at the university.

Newly appointed board members have started planning the organization’s first year. Two CE courses – one focusing on esthetic dentistry and another focusing on surgical extractions – will be given in the spring by Roseman faculty. Other educational events will be focused on local dentists and how they have managed their practices and established themselves after dental school. By the end of the academic year, the chapter hopes to send several students to AGD2018 in June so they can share their unique experiences with other student members.
