Chad Duplantis, DDS, FAGD, received his DDS from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School in 1999. He then continued with postdoctorate training at Baylor College of Dentistry, earning a certificate in advanced education in general dentistry in 2000.
He has been in private practice since 2000 in the North Fort Worth, Texas, area. In private practice, he treats all ages with an emphasis on restorative and esthetic dentistry.
Duplantis is a member of the Catapult Education Speakers Bureau and has been a member of several esthetic and restorative continuums. He is currently a member of the Seattle Study Club. Duplantis has been incorporating CAD/CAM and digital technology in his practice since 2004 and has published several articles regarding digital dentistry and workflows. In addition to technology, Duplantis has a keen interest in restorative implantology, adhesion and materials.

Foroud Hakim, DDS, maintains a private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as a teaching position at the University of the Pacific. He has a true passion for restorative dentistry, ranging from complex rehabilitation to optimally conservative, single-tooth restoration. He is former vice chair of the department of integrated reconstructive dental sciences and has been a director of the Esthetics, Implant and Complex Care Clinic at University of the Pacific.
Hakim has lectured nationally and internationally on topics ranging from technology, esthetic dentistry, occlusion, smile design, CAD/CAM, photography, and adhesive and composite dentistry. He has several publications and has authored two chapters in the 2010 textbook, “Esthetic Dentistry in Clinical Practice.”
Hakim earned his DDS in 1991 from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry at the University of the Pacific and went on to complete an MBA from his alma mater. He is a member of OKU Dental Honor Society and past president of the Delta Delta Chapter. He is also a fellow and graduate of the ADEA Leadership Institute class of 2007 and sits on the board of Catapult Education.

Kaminer is an international expert in the field of dental lasers and has lectured on lasers, minimally invasive dentistry and dental technology both nationally and internationally. He is the director of the Masters of Laser training program in New York, evaluates new dental materials for the Catapult Group, and sits on the advisory boards and is a clinical consultant for numerous dental manufacturers. He has authored numerous articles on dental lasers, dental technology and minimally invasive dentistry and is an associate editor for Dental Product Shopper. He is a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, AGD and American Dental Association.

Jeff Horowitz, DMD, FAGD, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh and earned his DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. After completing a general practice residency at the Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey, Horowitz founded the Carolina Center for Advanced Dentistry, a multidisciplinary group practice in the Conway/Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, area. He is also the founder and clinical director for Advanced Sleep and TMJ Centers. His main interests include cosmetic smile rehabilitation, complex restorative cases, treatment of sleep-disordered breathing, orthodontics and temporomandibular disorders.
Horowitz is a past president of the South Carolina AGD and is on the AGD Dental Education Council. Horowitz also serves as a mentor and past scientific advisor at the Kois Center in Seattle, lectures for Catapult Education and is as an instructor for Sleep Group Solutions.
