AGD Recognizes Karl R. Jobst, DDS, MAGD, from Grove, Okla. with the Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition

AGD announces that Karl R. Jobst, MAGD, of Grove, Oklahoma, has earned the Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition. Dr. Jobst will receive this recognition during AGD’s 2025 scientific session held in Montréal, QC, reflecting for his commitment to lifelong learning and volunteering to communities in need, mentoring associates and new dentists, and participating in organized dentistry.

The Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition is presented only to AGD members who have gone above and beyond earning the association’s highest honor of Mastership. To accomplish this recognition, Dr. Jobst completed at least 1,600 hours of continuing dental education in 16 different dental disciplines. In addition, recipients must complete at least 100 hours of dental-related community/volunteer service.

"Those who receive the Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition from AGD truly demonstrate leadership and embody the core principles and values of community service and a commitment to excellence in dentistry," stated AGD President Chethan Chetty, DDS, MAGD. "To Dr. Jobst this award represents a commitment to learning, leadership, mentorship, and a pursuit of excellence in the field of dentistry."

A general dentist is the primary care provider for patients of all ages and is responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, management, and overall coordination of services related to patients’ oral health needs.
