Description

This course will provide a presentation on clear aligner treatment and its history, application of treatment and treatment planning. Also included will be a demonstration of a few cases of treatment planning and execution of treatment plans, which will include some auxiliaries and “hybrid” fixed/aligner treatment.

Learning Objectives 

  • Receive a general overview of clear aligners and treatment planning.
  • Discuss attachment types and purposes.
  • Receive a small overview on specific brands, but with more detail on plastic on the market.

Speaker Bio 
 
Amir Aminoshariae, DMD, MS, MSD, is a graduate of the esteemed orthodontic program at Case Western Reserve University. Prior to his orthodontic training, “Dr. A” (as he is known by colleagues, patients and friends) served as a U.S. Army dental officer at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In addition to his work in the military, he provided dental services to the community in private practice in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Aminoshariae practiced orthodontics in Cleveland, Ohio; Los Angeles, California; and now Greensboro, North Carolina, where he implemented both fixed and clear aligner treatment in his practice.
