Dr. Joseph DiDonato is a graduate of New York University School of Dentistry and completed the residency progrm at Strong Memorial Hospital (now the Eastman Department of Dentistry, University of Rochester,NY) where he continues as an attending and Clinical Instructor. In 2001 he completed an MBA at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and President of the New York State AGD.
He is the director of the Rochester Institute of Healthcare Management, which develops curriculum and provides CE for healthcare professionals. He is the developer of DDS- Dental Decision Systems, a computer simulation of dental practice he uses to teach practice management. Dr. DiDonato consults with healthcare providers on how to integrate technology into their practices.
Dr. DiDonato maintains a practice focusing on adult dental reconstruction. He is an experienced technology user who employs lasers, radiovisiography, ultrasonics, digital photography and wireless technology in his practice. He is a consultant to insurance companies and investigators in forensic dentistry. He is also a consultant to local investment clubs where he teaches economic fundamentals for investing.
Dr. D is an avid amateur paleontologist who has collected dinosaur fossils on four continents. His last expedition was to Beijing to search for the Feathered Dinosaurs of China. His next trip is to Egypt.
