Free CE Program
As a member, you receive free CE webinars that will allow you to earn CE credits that can be applied toward your maintenance of licensure and achievement of Fellowship and Mastership distinctions. In 2023, Premium members receive access to our library of free CE, Premium Plus members receive access to 4 additional OnDemand webinars of their choice. To access the Free CE Program webinars, visit the Select “Browse Catalog”. You can find all of the free webinars under the “AGD Membership Special” section of the catalog under Category – AGD Membership Special.
AGD CE Tracking
Eliminate the pressure of organizing your CE! AGD conveniently records all of your completed CE courses, and also tracks your progress toward the prestigious AGD Fellowship (FAGD) and Mastership (MAGD) awards, via convenient online transcripts.

Find quality CE opportunities close to home or around the world, all in one convenient place via the online CE Directory, which is searchable by topic, speaker, location and more.

Earn CE, see the latest products and technology and network with your colleagues at the premier dental event of the year — the AGD Scientific Session! AGD Premium members benefit from significantly discounted registration and Premium Plus members receive free Early Bird registration when registering prior to the Early Bird deadline. Registration includes access to top lecturers, state-of-the-art participation courses, an innovative exhibit hall and more.

Before you register for CE, look for the AGD PACE logo! PACE-approved program providers are evaluated for quality standards based on the educational processes they use in designing, planning and implementing their CE, ensuring that you attend the highest quality courses approved for Fellowship and Mastership credit.

Awards and Recognition
AGD Fellowship Award
Distinguish yourself professionally through quality CE with Fellowship in AGD. To attain Fellowship, members must demonstrate a commitment to providing quality patient care through CE that keeps them current in both knowledge and skill. In addition to the 500 hours of approved CE credits that are required, members must also pass a comprehensive exam, submit a formal application and attend a Convocation ceremony at the AGD Scientific Session.
Fellowship Review Course
Register for AGD’s Fellowship Review Course, and prepare to pass the Fellowship Exam, a 250-question, multiple-choice test that’s required to achieve Fellowship. The AGD hosts the two-day Fellowship Review Course twice a year — once in the summer at the AGD Scientific Session and again in the fall. Attendees also have the option of taking the Fellowship Exam on the third day immediately following the review course. Premium Plus members receive a 20% discount when registering for the Fall Review Course .
AGD Mastership Award
Complete your journey to excellence with our highest honor — Mastership in AGD. A professional designation within AGD beyond Fellowship, Mastership reflects a general dentist’s ongoing commitment to providing quality patient care through continuing education.
Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition
Go beyond Mastership by pursuing AGD’s Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition, which recognizes members who demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning and volunteer service within the dental community.
