Child Abuse and Neglect: What Every Dentist Needs to Know

This course will provide information regarding the oral and dental aspects of child abuse and neglect and will review recommendations put forth by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Attendees will learn how to recognize oral and facial injuries as well as other signs of abuse and neglect in children, and special focus will be given to documentation of and reporting suspected abuse and neglect.
