The global pandemic created by the recent outbreak of the coronavirus has drastically altered the way we approach healthcare—particularly in the field of dentistry. For many dentists, the landscape that awaits will look radically different from the way they remember it. Improvisation and adaptation to virtual health technologies will become the new normal for the dental practitioner. This webinar will provide a guide to teledentistry and bring participants rapidly up to speed with what they need to know about this treatment modality, when to implement it and how to submit claims for it.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the advantages of teledentistry as they apply to current global circumstances.
  • Identify audiovisual technologies that enable better communication with patients, the dental laboratory, colleagues and members of the allied health community.
  • Review current legal and legislative regulations related to teledentistry.
  • Apply new concepts and technologies to existing and future patient base to augment successful treatment outcomes.
