Current Recommendations and Resources

On March 17, Kansas Department of Health and Environment strongly recommended that dentists in Kansas voluntarily suspend nonessential or nonurgent dental care for the next 14 days but continue to be available as needed for emergency care. The department is also providing updates on its coronavirus page, and the COVID-19 Resource Center has a section devoted to dentists. As of March 18, the Kansas Dental Board is directing dental professionals to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
