The Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia will be issuing daily updates on COVID-19's effect on dental practice. The March 16 bulletin specifies that non-emergency care should be rescheduled to after Monday, March 30, unless the suspension is extended further. It also indicates that dental emergencies (treatment of infection, acute pain, trauma and bleeding, along with necessary postoperative follow-up) must be treated in accordance with the Chief Medical Officer of Health's March 11 guidelines.
