Speaker Bio  

Tomas J. Ballesteros, MS, DMD, FAGD, graduated from the University of Florida with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in microbiology as well as food science and human nutrition. After completing his master’s degree, Ballesteros graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2007. Ballesteros has been working as an assistant professor for the Special Care Center at the Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine for nine years, where he has treated the special care community by performing chairside, operating room and hospital treatment; taught students and residents; lectured; and served on the admissions committee. Ballesteros has served on the New Jersey AGD for 10 years, serving on the executive board as president and chair of CE in Advancing into Mastership. He has also served on the AGD PACE Council for three years. He is a Fellow of AGD and currently working on his mastership.
