These connections are what develop loyalty, and they are part of the strategy for retaining patients over years. Retaining patients is five times less expensive than finding new patients. Evaluate the lifetime value of each patient — in other words, how much business they will bring to your practice over the lifetime of your relationship — not just the value of their first visit. Patient loyalty produces that lifetime value. This is what makes patient relationships and communication paramount.

Andrea Gallimore has over 19 years of experience in the dental industry and is product marketing manager at Henry Schein One. She has been responsible for patient communication and overall marketing efforts as the office manager of a multi-doctor practice, and she has also worked as a certified Dentrix practice management trainer. With her extensive dental software knowledge and real-world office management expertise, Andrea currently travels across the country presenting at educational dental seminars, sharing her firsthand experience about what it takes and how to help practices maximize marketing efficiency and profitability in today’s dental world.
