The FAGD, MAGD awards and LLSR are AGD’s highest honors. Receiving these awards show your lifelong commitment to exceptional oral care and that you’ve seized the opportunity to expand your clinical knowledge and enhance how you care for your patients. The Convocation Ceremony and Celebration is AGD’s way of acknowledging and rewarding Fellows, Masters and LLSR recipients with an outlet to have a little fun.
Each year, the Convocation Ceremony takes place at the AGD Scientific Session. The room is full of other general dentists, who are equally dedicated and share the passion to always excel. Your friends and family, who have supported you in your efforts to achieve the highest level of education, will be able to watch you get recognized on stage and celebrate with you afterward. This year, the ceremony will take place in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, July 30. Immediately following the Convocation Ceremony, a celebratory event will take place that lets you take a step back, relax and rejoice in all the hard work that put you in the position to receive your new designation.
In order to get recognized as a Fellow, Master or LLSR at AGD2022 in Orlando, July 27-30, all requirements must be completed and applications must be received or postmarked on or before Dec. 31, 2021. If you want to be recognized in 2022 and are trying to complete the required CE credits, head to our Take Courses page and check out all upcoming CE offerings. For those who have not taken the Fellowship exam, AGD has the study guides to help you prepare. Have you already received your Fellowship and are looking to fulfill Mastership requirements? Join an AGD MasterTrack Program in your area to team up with peers and stay motivated.
