AGD’s Duty of Care Commitment

In addition to McCormick Place’s Safety Plan and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations at CDC.gov, AGD has developed the following safety guidelines that will be communicated to all attendees, vendors and staff involved in the House of Delegates Meeting , November 19-21.

Mask 2

Attendees, staff and vendors will always be required to wear face masks. AGD will provide a mask if an individual arrives to the meeting without one.

Temperature CheckHealth screening: A system will be in place to perform health screening questions and assess symptoms.
No GatheringIn order to provide a socially distant environment, AGD has arranged for the House of Delegates to be seated with 6’ distance from the next delegate. All House of Delegates sessions, Reference Committee sessions and Town Hall will take place in the same space with assigned seating for each delegate to use throughout the entire meeting.
6-Feet

AGD will work with McCormick Place to provide enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols:

  • Meeting tables and high-touch points will be cleaned and sanitized after each meeting day .
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers and disinfecting wipes and replacement masks, should one be needed, will be provided to delegates throughout the meeting space.

AGD will provide attendees hand sanitizer in hallways and major thoroughfares and outside each meeting room.

Covid ShieldSafety measure signage will be posted throughout the building reminding attendees to socially distance and wash hands.
