Find Your Voice! The key to successful recruiting is you! As an AGD member, you know the value of membership firsthand, so it’s your personal contact and AGD experiences that will be most meaningful to your colleagues.
Sometimes, recruiting your colleagues can be as simple as telling them about the benefits of AGD membership and asking them to join. Other times, the process can be a bit more challenging. Either way, you can follow these step-by-step instructions to turn any colleague into a lifelong, loyal AGD member:

Start by searching the AGD Membership Directory to determine if your colleagues are already members. |

Find creative ways to identify prospective new members by browsing our tips for successful member recruitment  . |
| 3. |
Learn how to communicate the value of AGD membership  , brush up on general information about the AGD, and reach out to your nonmember colleagues using all of our great recruiter tools and resources. |

Encourage your nonmember colleagues to join the AGD by completing a paper or online membership application, or direct them to join over the phone with an AGD Membership Services Representative by calling 888.AGD.DENT (888.243.3368). |

Ensure that you receive credit in the Refer a Colleague program once your colleague joins by asking him or her to include your name and city/state in the “Referral Information” box on the paper application or in Step 2 of the online application. If joining over the phone, ask your colleague to reference your name to an AGD Membership Services Representative. |

Follow up with your colleagues periodically and ask if they’ve joined the AGD. If they have, encourage them to get involved in the Refer a Colleague program, too! |

Be sure to visit the online recruiter leader boards often to see if you qualify for exciting prizes and rewards, and to check out the competition for the Top Recruiter title in your category. |

If you have someone in mind now, send your colleagues’ names and contact information directly to the AGD and we'll contact them with membership information on your behalf.
Then, simply follow up with your colleagues when you have more time. Once they join the AGD, we’ll award you credit in the Refer a Colleague program!
