Dr. Burns graduated from Indiana University with a BA in 1980 and IU School of Dentistry in 1984. She was a dental officer in the US Navy for seven years and has been practicing in Richmond since 1992. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, the honorary societies of the International College of Dentists, and the American College of Dentists. This is her fourth year as a member of the Indiana State Board of Dentistry and it is her pleasure to serve as Vice-President this year.
