Keeping PACE News

Keeping PACE is the AGD PACE Providers' most current source of information from Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) Headquarters. It is also a good reference tool for AGD leaders. Recipients are encouraged to check this resource on a regular basis for information that can help provide top-quality dental education and ensure compliance to published AGD PACE Guidelines. If you would like to propose a submission for an upcoming edition of Keeping PACE, please send it to the attention of PACE@agd.org.

You can find your expiration date each time you log onto the AGD Web site or on the "Find a Provider" page. If you’re not listed on the “Find a Provider” page, it may mean that your approval is no longer current.

Please keep in mind that staff and committee members will be processing and reviewing applications during the six weeks between the deadline and vote dates.

Find AGD PACE Guidelinesand the national application on the AGD Web site.

Local PACE Provider Deadlines

Each AGD local constituent sets its own schedule to review and approval local AGD PACE providers.  Applications are sent to existing local providers six months prior to their expiration date.

You can find your expiration date each time you log onto the AGD Web site or on the Find a Provider” page. If you’re not listed on the “Find a Provider” page, it may mean that your approval is no longer current.

Find the AGD PACE Guidelines, local constituent application, and other resources on the AGD Web site.  Contact your local PACE approval representative with any questions.

Approval Terms

According to current AGD PACE guidelines, your maximum term of approval cannot exceed four years.  Shorter terms of approval may be awarded if there are deficiencies or concerns that would justify an earlier re-evaluation date.  In these cases, the reason(s) for a shorter period of approval will be identified and provided to the program provider.  In no case will approval be granted for a period of less than one year.
