This course will introduce you to the benefits of utilizing a cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) system in the general dental practice. The difference between an analog system versus a 3D system will be discussed. The speaker will then go into specific examples where CBCT has benefited her practice and how it integrates with other technology.

Speaker Bio
Kirsten Andrews, DDS, graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2007. Upon graduation, she returned to her hometown of Devils Lake, North Dakota, where she currently owns and practices at Johnson Family Dentistry. Andrews has been a CEREC user since 2012, is a visiting facility member for CDOCS and loves helping new or existing users become more proficient with technology. Currently, she uses technology in every way possible, including implant planning, sleep dentistry, crown and bridge treatment, SureSmile aligners, and partial and denture fabrication. At any opportunity, Andrews is mentoring dentists either in Arizona or North Carolina and has taught courses. Andrews is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Dakota Dental Association, Spear Practice Solutions and the International Dental Implant Association.
