Description

Dental implant rehabilitation is considered one of the most predictable treatments in dentistry today. However, if key treatment planning factors are not addressed, significant technical and biologic complications may occur. Therefore, emphasis must be placed on careful treatment planning leading to an ideal implant prosthesis. Speaker Bio 
 
Randolph R. Resnik, DMD, MDS, is a leading clinician, educator, researcher and author in the fields of oral implantology and prosthodontics. Resnik completed his specialty training in prosthodontics, fellowship in oral implantology and master’s degree in oral implantology/radiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He is the director of the Misch Resnik Implant Institute as well as clinical professor at the University of Pittsburgh (graduate prosthodontics), Temple University School of Dentistry (graduate periodontics and oral implantology), and Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (oral and maxillofacial surgery). Along with his passion for lecturing and education, Resnik has published over 150 articles and authored the two leading textbooks on implant dentistry, “Avoiding Complications in Oral Implantology” and the fourth edition of “Contemporary Implant Dentistry.”
