Date(s)
Sep. 1, 2021 at 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

The Dental Quality Alliance (DQA) is pleased to announce the 5th installment in their Quality Measurement in Dentistry Webinar Series. Putting measurement into action: what do the data tell us? The first step to improve healthcare quality is measurement. The goal of this webinar is to highlight the release of the first of its kind National Oral Healthcare Quality state profiles. These reports of oral healthcare quality in the Medicaid and CHIP programs represent a first step to understand where we are and where we need to go to improve oral health care and, ultimately, health outcomes.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Gain familiarity with how data are reported and compiled at the state and plan levels for Medicaid and CHIP.
  • Learn how the DQA is using national data for Medicaid and CHIP programs contained within the Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS) to conduct research that supports systems-level improvement.
  • Understand how measurement can be used to identify disparities in care.
