Albert L. Borish Award
Named in honor of an AGD leader and faculty member of Temple University Dental School, this award honors an individual who has demonstrated innovation and leadership, dedication to the advancement of dentistry, and has made positive changes for the benefit of the profession and dental health of public.

Distinguished Service Award
The Distinguished Service Award acknowledges a council, committee or task force member who has exhibited outstanding leadership capabilities and whose contributions result in significant and fundamental advances towards fulfilling the organization’s overall mission.

Humanitarian Award
The Humanitarian Award is presented to a dentist who contributes voluntary service, in conjunction with a consistent commitment to enhance the image of general dentistry through the continuous delivery of quality dental care and leadership in areas of civic involvement.

The Thaddeus V. Weclew Award
Named for the founding father of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Thaddeus V. Weclew Award is presented annually to a dedicated educator who embodies the spirit of comprehensive dental care.
