Exam Tips

Preparing to take an exam doesn’t have to be stressful. Use the tips below to help you succeed in passing the Fellowship Exam.

BEFORE THE EXAM:

Read the Directions Carefully
Be sure you understand the directions before you begin the exam. If you have a question, ask before the exam begins to avoid losing valuable testing time.

Trust Your Instincts
Usually your first answer is the correct choice. If you’re still unsure, reread the question to be sure you understood it and then verify your answer.

Move on
If you’re unsure of an answer, mark it and move on. Then, return to the question at the end of the exam, if possible.

Know If You’re Penalized for Guessing
If the instructions state that you will not be penalized, always make an educated guess.

Review Your Answer Sheet
When you’re finished, review your test to ensure you’ve answered all the questions.
