Speaker Biography
Dr. Avila-Gnau obtained her D.D.S. from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in California and a previous D.D.S from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. Her teaching experience includes faculty positions at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and New York University College of Dentistry. Her private practice experience includes managing her own practice in Colombia and associate positions in Boston, Manhattan and Maryland. She has obtained evidence based and leadership training with the American Dental Association and achieved fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry.
